Dadasaheb Rupwate

Lovingly known as "Dada" or "Dadasaheb", Damodar Tatyaba Rupwate was born on the 28th of February 1925 in Akole, a small village in the Ahmednagar District, situated on the banks of the Pravara River, in a community that was forced to live outside the village! Though the age old Caste system had a host of discriminations in store for him…. Dadasaheb's innate intelligence and farsightedness was a nature's gift to him. He developed a strong, dynamic, progressive and cultured personality by continuously strengthening his knowledge, mind and body.

Snehja Rupwate

An amazing blend of minimalism and simplicity, yet a strong minded woman - Snehja Rupwate is a perfect example of a self-made woman of today. Having born into a politically and socially influential family Snehjaji never let this fact intrude her down to earth, soothing nature. Her father, late Hon. Madhukarrao ji Chaudhari was the Ex-Speaker of the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha and successfully headed several portfolios in the Government of Maharashtra. His contribution to the social, political and educational field has been immense. Snehjaji choose to take forward his legacy specifically in the social field.

Utkarsha Rupwate

The Indian youth symbolises a new ray of hope for the ever increasing and complicating problems that confront our society. This young social activist represents this youth dynamism. A commitment to the society, a vow to contribute her bit, a belief in positive change and a zeal to ignite young souls along this path is what defines Utkarsha.

Having completed her Graduation from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai with specialisation in Sociology; she went on to pursue her Masters in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in 2006.
